CREEK COUNTY, Okla. -- A man is recovering after he suffered minor burns when his garage caught fire in rural Creek County late Monday night.
Sapulpa Fire responded to the garage fire near 9400 South 161st West Avenue around 11 p.m. Monday. They found the building engulfed in flames when they arrived.
Crews say the man was working on his vehicle when something caught fire. He was able to escape and was treated for minor burns at the scene.
The building and vehicle are a complete loss.
The cause is under investigation.
