TULSA -- Tulsa police say a 27-year-old woman died Sunday afternoon from injuries after being run over.
Police say the incident happened Friday night when the woman and her boyfriend met with a man at Addison Apartments for a deal over an alleged stolen vehicle.
Officials say the vehicle had been reported stolen/embezzled on April 21. The vehicle was a rental car that had not been returned.
After an argument became heated, police say the man meeting the couple put the car in reverse with the passenger door still opened, running the woman over.
Police say the two men exchanged gunfire and the man driving the car was shot in the leg.
Police say they interviewed the two men and have recovered the gun used in the shooting of the man driving the car.
The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
