TULSA — A man was shot Wednesday night in south Tulsa while he was serving eviction papers, police said.
The shooting happened in the 7500 block of East 102nd Street.
Police said the victim is a process server who served eviction papers to the suspect, identified as Christopher Barnett. The victim was shot in the elbow as he was walking back to his vehicle, according to police. The victim said Barnett told him several times that he would kill him, according to the police report.
The suspect, who police said went back inside the home, was taken into custody by police on a count of shooting with intent to kill.
