Man shot in the head Sunday dies Tuesday morning

TULSA - Police report than 23-year-old Blaine Wells, who was shot in the head Sunday, has died after being pulled off of life support.

The news comes after Wells was pronounced brain dead Sunday afternoon.

Earlier Sunday officers were called to the intersection of 51st Street and Union Avenue. When police arrived they say the shooting victim was being treated on scene.

The victim, Wells, was shot in the head and transported to Saint Francis, according to authorities.

Officers say the suspect is a white man in 30s, 5-foot-9 to 6-foot and 180 pounds. Witness told police he was wearing all green clothing and driving a white car.
