Man shot in the head, suspect arrested

TULSA - Police are investigating after they say an altercation led to a man being shot in the head.

Police say they received a call around 7:30 Sunday night regarding a 25-year-old male taken to St. Francis with a gunshot wound to the head.

According to police, it all started with an altercation near the 1000 block of North Garnett Road where the victim was later shot.

Police say a suspect, John Crandall, was arrested after being detained by employees of a local business near the 2000 block of North Mingo Road. Employees allegedly detained Crandall after discovering he was armed.

Officials say the victim is not expected to survive.

Crandall was arrested on multiple charges including shooting with intent to kill, possession of a firearm, and possession of marijuana.
