Man shot in the hand for not having lighter

TULSA - A man was shot at a Tulsa apartment complex after telling someone he Didn't have a lighter.

Police say it happened at the Braden Creek Apartments near 48th Street and Braden Avenue. The victim told police a truck stopped him at the entrance of the apartment complex and asked him for a lighter. 

When the victim told the man he didn't have a lighter, the man pulled out a gun and shot him twice. Paramedics took the victim to the hospital for an injury to his hand.

Officers have a limited description of the shooter and say they only know that he may be a Hispanic male with glasses in his early 20's.

The victim was released from the hospital and expected to be ok.
