SAND SPRINGS, Okla. (AP) -- Police in Sand Springs say one man has been killed in a shooting at a home on the city's north side.
Police Chief Mike Carter says 38-year-old Jason Emarthlee Waquie was pronounced dead at a hospital following the shooting on Saturday. Carter says Waquie had a gunshot wound to the chest, but the body is being sent to the state medical examiner's office to determine an official cause of death.
Carter says officers responding to the shooting found another man in the home with what appeared to be injuries suffered in a fight and was taken to a hospital in undisclosed condition.
Carter says there have been no arrests in the case.
