SAPULPA, Okla. - Police are investigating after a person was reportedly shot in the chest after an attempted home invasion.
According to Sapulpa police, a man was transported after being found with bullet wounds at 919 S. Mission.
Sapulpa police say the victim knocked at the apartment door and then the person living there answered.
The person living at the apartment got into an altercation with the person who knocked on the door which led to the inhabitant shooting the person who knocked at the door, as per police.
Sapulpa police went on to say that then the person who was shot drove to a nearby hospital.
No charges are expected at this time, as per Sapulpa police.
