TULSA - Officers are looking for a suspect following a shooting at Owen Park.
Just before 9 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to N. Boston Pl. for a shooting. They found a man and a witness in a jeep parked on the street. Paramedics took the victim to the hospital for treatment.
After speaking to the witness, officers determined the shooting happened at the east side of Owen Park. Witnesses told police the suspect pulled up to the park in an older model red vehicle, stepped outside, and opened fire with what officers describe as a "high capacity firearm."
The suspect then ran on foot, and the red car's driver drove off.
A second witness ran to a nearby fire station for help.
Officers say the wounded victim is expected to survive.
