TULSA - Geomari Day'on Washington was sentenced to life in prison Friday for a December 2015 murder.
Jurors deliberated for 10 hours back in March when he was found guilty for the first degree murder of 35-year-old Curtis Clayton.
The judged also sentenced Washington to 30 years, which will run concurrent, to possession of a firearm and one year, to run concurrent, for obstructing an officer.
Washington was also given credit for time served on the obstructing an officer charge.
In March, the jurors recommended Washington pay more than $30,000 in fines, but the judge waived all the fines.
