TULSA, Okla. - A man was sent to the hospital after being hit by two vehicles in east Tulsa.

The incident happened Sunday night around 7:40 on the 6700 block of East Admiral.

Tulsa Police said a man stepped on East Admiral and was hit by a Pontiac. When the driver pulled over to report the accident, another vehicle going eastbound also hit the victim.

Officers said the driver of that second vehicle didn't stop. Witnesses described the vehicle as a red van. They do not know the make or the model, but the hood of the van should be damaged.

The victim was sent to the hospital in critical condition, but as of 10:30 p.m. police said he was in stable condition.
