STILWELL, Okla. -- A man has been arrested after officials said he was involved in a drive-by shooting in Stilwell and then opened fire on officers.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, the drive-by shooting happened just after 5 a.m. on Friday.
Officers spotted the vehicle described to be involved in the shooting, but said the driver, who has been identified as T.J. Cain, 46, refused to stop and led officers on a pursuit. Cain's vehicle crashed in the area of 814 East Road and 4680 North Road.
Officials said Cain then got out his vehicle, and while he ran from police, he opened fire. At least one officer returned fire.
Officers said Cain was hit by their gunfire in both legs. No officers were hurt.
Cain continued to run but has been found.
