Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a man on a motorcycle died after striking a dog with his bike Monday afternoon.
OHP said Frederick Tobin, 77, was riding his bike westbound on State Highway 82, just four miles east of Salina, when he struck a dog on the roadway.
Troopers said Tobin made contact with the roadway, then departed it before coming to rest.
Tobin died due to massive injuries sustained in the accident, troopers said.
