TULSA – A man is in custody after a traffic stop led officers to chase him on foot.
Tulsa police say they were administering a traffic stop for speeding when the driver took off. Authorities were forced to create a perimeter in the area near Interstate 244 and Harvard. Eventually the suspect got out of the vehicle and ran on foot.
A K-9 officer was able to catch up with the suspect and subdue him, as per Tulsa police.
The suspect was arrested on complaint of possessing a stolen vehicle. Tulsa police also indicated there could be additional charges added.
