TULSA - A man is recovering in the hospital after being shot in east Tulsa.
Police say someone shot the victim around 3 a.m. Saturday outside Torchy's bar near East Central High School.
According to the victim, several people came out of the shadows and shot him while he was in his car. Police say the victim fled to the 7300 block of East 21st Street where he called his family.
Police say after the family arrived on scene, they were able to flag down an ambulance passing by. According to police, the victim's injuries appeared non-life threatening.
