TULSA -- A man was hospitalized after police say he was shot at an east Tulsa motel.
Police responded to the shooting at a motel near Memorial Drive and I-44. The victim told police that the suspect was trying to rob him before shooting him in the chest.
After the shooting, a witness told police that he saw the suspect run northbound away from the motel.
The victim was transported to the hospital in critical, but stable condition, say police.
The motel's manager says the victim was not a guest at the motel. The shooting is still under investigation.
