MUSKOGEE, Okla. -- Muskogee police are investigating Friday night after a man was shot and killed.
Officers were sent at 6 p.m. to the area of South Junction Street and Carolyn Street in reference to a man who had been shot inside a vehicle.
Officers said the man, identified as Brett Doty, 25, was found in the vehicle. He was pronounced dead after being taken to the hospital.
Muskogee police are interviewing witnesses. No one has been arrested in connection with the incident.
