TULSA, Okla. — On Sunday afternoon, officers responded to a call to check a body at 6744 S. Lewis.
Police say they found victim Garett Cooper dead from gunshot wounds behind the business there. During the course of the investigation, detectives determined Steven Lee Gillis shot Cooper on 3/15/2023 around 7 pm and fled the scene.

Gillis was located, arrested, and questioned at Detective Division. Detectives also located Ashley Abel and questioned her at Detective Division, she is being arrested for accessory, according to police.

No other suspects are being searched for at this time.
