PRESTON, Okla. -- A man died Thursday during an oilfield accident near Preston.

Okmulgee County Sheriff's Office officials said an oilfield pulling unit had been servicing a well site when the unit became unstable, which caused the unit to turn over and collapse.

A worker who was on the pulling unit tower during the incident was killed. He was identified as Robert Allen, 35, of Cushing.

Rick's Well Service, the owner of the pulling unit, is working with OSHA investigators to determine the cause of the accident.
