TULSA - Police are searching for a driver who led them on chase before crashing his car into East Central High School Sunday morning.

Police say it started when they tried pulling him over for failing to stop at a stop sign. As the driver fled the scene, he hit a curb, and took out two of the schools fences before crashing into the club house.

Police say after crashing, the car caught fire. The driver fled the scene with the passenger still inside the burning vehicle. Police say the passenger was pulled out of the car safely.

Police searched the area, but were unable to locate the driver. Police say they have a person of interest and will continue searching.
