TULSA, Okla. — The Coffee Bunker is a veteran owned and operated business that provides resources for veterans transitioning back into society.

A man was caught on camera Wednesday afternoon stealing flags from the business.

The coffee bunker has been in Tulsa for around ten years. The owner tells us he has not reported this as a crime, he's hoping the person will return the flags.

Dr. Michael Horton is one of the many people taking care of the Coffee Bunker.

Dr. Horton tells us this theft is personal because each flag represents something very special to veterans who visit the Coffee Bunker.

“The flag represents a symbol of our honor and our integrity under which we have served and continue to serve", Horton says, "to steal it is a for some people a petty theft, but to us it’s a serious thing.”

He doesn't believe the thief knows how serious this issue is to the veterans, he's just hoping the person who took the flags will find it in his heart to return them.
