Man accused in '14 Amber Alert sentenced

TULSA – The man at the center of an Amber Alert in 2014 has been sentenced to 120 years in prison.

Files were charged against Michael David Slatton that include kidnapping, first-degree rape, child abuse and assault and battery on a police officer in May of 2014.

According to police,Slatton is a registered sex offender who grabbed an 8-year-old girl from the playground of an east Tulsa apartment complex.  

Authorities were able to locate the girl in a wooded area in Sapulpa.
