TULSA – The man arrested in Illinois for a Tulsa homicide has been found guilty for first degree murder.

Renese Bramlett, 45, is reportedly in the sentencing phase for the death of 34-year-old Michelle Spence.

Spence was found dead in an SUV parked outside of a Tulsa apartment complex in March. Spence’s children reportedly found her body, which also had trauma marks reported authorities.

TPD says Bramlett was arrested in La Salle, Ill. In July. Police traveled to Illinois to interview Bramlett and ultimately brought him back to Tulsa County to face a first-degree murder charge.
