Man arrested in connection with shooting near Nathan Hale schools

TULSA--Police arrest a man wanted in connection with a shooting that happened across the street from two Tulsa schools. 

Tulsa Police arrested Bogi Maxwell in connection with shots fired near Nathan Hale High School and Nathan Hale Jr. High on Monday afternoon.

According to the arrest report, on March 5, witnesses say they saw Maxwell shoot at a Chevrolet Impala, then run northwest of Nathan Hale Jr. High, located at 2177 S. 67th East Avenue. 

While officers were working the scene, two gunshot victims showed up at St. Francis Hospital but refused treatment. 

Officers say that Maxwell tossed the gun in the bushes as he ran. 

Maxwell was booked on complaints of shooting with intent to kill and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon.
