CRAIG COUNTY, Okla. — A man has been arrested in connection with the death of his grandmother in Mayes County.
On Jan. 8, the Pryor Police Department requested the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation's assistance in looking into the homicide of Sandra Blackwell, 73. She was found dead inside her home in Pryor.
Her grandson, Frankie Blackwell II, was identified as a suspect and arrested on unrelated warrants. On Wednesday, he was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Blackwell is in the Craig County Jail for an unrelated arrest and will be transferred to Mayes County.
