Man arrested as person of interest in aggravated assault case in Broken Arrow

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- Police arrested a man as a person of interest in an aggravated assault case Monday night.

Police arrested 33-year-old Brent Allen Morris just before 10:00 p.m. Monday. He was booked for violating a protective order.

Broken Arrow police said he is a person of interest in an aggravated assault case that left a woman hospitalized in serious condition.

Police said they responded to the area of 400 East Detroit Street on Saturday. They found a woman inside with serious injuries.

Officers said Morris was in a domestic relationship with the victim.

He is due in court Wednesday.
