TULSA - A man is in custody after failing to stop for police, then running away Saturday morning.
Officers first spotted the suspect driving a stolen vehicle around midnight near Utica Avenue and Archer Street. When police tried to stop the suspect, he kept driving.
Police say the suspect eventually drove off the road, hit a curb and crashed into a fence. After crashing, the suspect ran across I-244 into a neighborhood. Officers used a taser to subdue the man after he failed to follow commands.
Police say the suspect is also wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service for a probation violation.
