Man arrested after driving 130 mph, crashing car

TULSA - A man was taken to the hospital after leading police on a chase, the crashing into a tree.

Police say the chase started near the Osage Casino in north Tulsa. Osage Nation Police noticed a man, later identified as Nicolas Davenport, driving a stolen vehicle with fake tags.

During the chase, Davenport drove as fast as 130 miles-per-hour.

Officers finally caught Davenport after he hit a traffic light, then crashed into a tree, destroying the vehicle.

He was taken to the hospital and will be taken into custody after he recovers.
