DELAWARE COUNTY, Okla. – Investigators are still gathering evidence after a man called emergency services claiming he accidentally shot a woman who later died.
The Delaware County Sheriff’s Office says they were called by a man who claimed he accidentally shot his girlfriend. When emergency services arrived and transported the victim, Natalie Short, she was eventually pronounced dead.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is assisting in the investigation after the man, David Price, was arrested on scene for possession of a firearm after former felony conviction.
