TULSA--Troopers arrest one man after a car chase that ended in a local pond. It happened at 10:30pm on Monday when Troopers spotted a someone throwing trash out of a vehicle.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that the driver wouldn't pull over and lit resulted in a pursuit in the area of 145th East Avenue and 41st Street.
OHP says a truck drove through a field and into a pond.
TFD was called out for a water rescue.
OHP arrested Travis Benefield. Benefield will be transported back to Muskogee County for warrants.
The pursuit went through a neighborhood and speeds reached about 50 mph.
41st was closed between 145th and 129th East Avenue for about 20 minutes.
