OKMULGEE, Okla. -- One man was arrested after a boat crash on Okmulgee Lake left one child dead.
Police say Jared Trotter, 34, was arrested after crashing his boat into another boat on the lake.
A 9-year-old aboard the boat that was struck died at the scene, according to police. A second boy was flown to a Tulsa hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
Trotter was arrested and booked into the county’s jail on complaints of operating a boat under the influence and manslaughter.
