Posted

TULSA – A man was put behind bars Monday evening after being kicked out of two north Tulsa bars.

Police were called to White Owl bar at 7103 East Pine after hearing reports that a customer was holding a knife.

When authorities arrived, they were informed that the suspect, Raymond Peck, left White Owl after the knife was taken from him. Those at the bar indicated that it appeared the suspect was heading towards another bar located at 7204 East Pine Street called Bamboo Lounge.

Officers say they arrived at the Bamboo Lounge and heard a commotion as well as screaming. They went on to say that after identifying themselves, the suspect yelled “#$%* you, I’m an old school gangster.” Officers say the suspect began walking towards them, yelling obscenities and refusing to obey orders.

When the suspect continued towards the officers, they used a Taser to subdue him.

The 55-year-old victim of the fight has a concussion, broken nose and several cuts.

Peck is facing several charges including public intoxication, assault and battery, resisting arrest and an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.
