BROKEN ARROW, Okla. – A man was arrested after being spotted allegedly trying to steal several hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise from a home improvement store.

Broken Arrow police say that Darion Shivers was arrested for grand larceny and obstructing officers after attempting to take more than $1,000 worth of stuff from a Lowe’s located at 1900 E. Hillside Drive.

BAPD says that Shivers was noticed by a customer with a basket full of items and was confronted in the parking lot. The witness was able to wrestle the items away from Shivers who then fled through the parking lot.

Shivers was eventually arrested after coming out of a Popeye’s, according to BAPD.
