TULSA - Police arrested a man Friday after he allegedly stole a truck and led police on a chase.
Friday night police say a man in a blue Dodge Ram was driving recklessly on Peoria Avenue.
Police say when they tried to pull the driver over, he failed to stop. The suspect, Israel Maldonado, then drove into a parking lot near east 42nd Street and south Peoria Avenue and attempted to flee the scene.
According to police, the truck Maldonado was driving was reported stolen. Maldonado was arrested and booked into the Tulsa County Jail.
