PAYNE COUNTY, Okla. – Special agents arrested a man after he allegedly sent an image of his genitals to a number connected to a Craigslist ad placed by authorities pretending to be a minor.
The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation says that Austin Pelletier, 23, was arrested on complaint of possession of child pornography, engaging in sexual communication with a minor by use of technology, and violation of Oklahoma computer crimes act.
OSBI says Pelletier responded to a Craigslist ad created by an undercover Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force officer who was posing as a 14 year old girl.
Pelletier allegedly responded to the ad and engaged in sexually explicit conversations with the officer pretending to be a female teen, says OSBI. Authorities went on to say that Pelletier sent an image of his penis during the conversation.
OSBI says it conducted a computer forensic examination on a computer device that allegedly belonged to Pelletier and discovered child pornography.
