TULSA -- A man was arrested after police said he raped a woman in downtown Tulsa on Wednesday morning.
Police said at about 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to a rape in progress near 12th and Denver.
Police were advised by the 911 caller that he had the suspect detained.
The victim said she was walking south on Denver near 11th Street when a man, identified as Yusuf Guled, was following her.
Police said Guled exposed himself to the woman, hit her and climbed on top of her.
Then the good Samaritan intervened, striking Guled in the head, police said.
