Tulsa, Okla--

A man is facing numerous charges after officers say he attacked them.

Police responded to a disturbance call near East Pine and North 129th East Avenue around 5:30 PM Friday.

Officers say that's where they encountered 25-year-old Brian Dion Radford. Investigators say he appeared to be intoxicated on an "unknown substance" and became aggressive toward them.

They say he started to fight police when they tried to arrest him. Police say Radford bit one officer, and tried to bite and kick two other officers. TPD says it took four officers to restrain Radford and load him into a vehicle for transportation to the jail.

Several officers suffered minor injuries from the incident.

Radford is charged with two counts of assault and battery on an officer, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.
