MANNFORD, Okla. -- Mannford police confirmed that Joshua Caudill was arrested Friday by U.S. Marshals.
Caudill is accused of trying to run over a Mannford officer after a police chase July 10. Officers fired shots into Caudill’s truck as he sped away.
Mannford police say the officer that was hit by Caudill’s vehicle was able to get shots off that hit the suspect’s vehicle and they believe Caudill also was grazed by one shot.
U.S. Marshals were able to track Caudill, which aided in the effort to arrest him. He was taken into custody near the Osage County line, according to police.
