GLENPOOL, Okla. -- A 28 acre plot in Glenpool will soon be the home of Brookover Corner, featuring several retail stores and office spaces.
The property sits off the intersection of Highways 67 and 75.
Moab Development says they have their eye on the spot because of the traffic from the highways, the close proximity of Glenpool schools, and the growth of nearby housing developments.
The site will share a newly constructed traffic light with the $23 million St. Francis Health Complex across the street.
To make the development possible, Moab worked with the City of Glenpool which approved a $3.25 million Tax Increment Financing district that encompasses the property. The funds will reimburse the developer for constructing a new north-south road through the property, a traffic signal, and other infrastructure.
Moab Development says the project will cost more than $10 million.
Construction for Brookover Corner is set to begin in the fall.
