TULSA - Three days after being shot in the parking lot of a south Tulsa pool hall, a shooting victim has died.
Tulsa police said Deranta Ponder, 28, was shot in the groin area Sept. 26 outside Magoo's near 51st and Memorial. Ponder died early Thursday morning as a result of the wound to his femoral artery.
Police believe Ponder was shot following a transaction in the parking lot. According to video from the scene, police said a black Chrysler is seen pulling up next to a white car. A fight broke out and Ponder ran away before he collapsed. Both cars drove away.

This will be Tulsa’s 53rd homicide for 2016.
