TULSA -- Business owners and residents affected by tornadoes, flooding and winds during the month of August could soon receive help.
The Small Business Administration announced Thursday. they are offering loans to affected businesses, private non-profits, homeowners and renters.
"Businesses of all sizes and private non-profit organizations may borrow up to $2 million to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, machinery and equipment, inventory and other business assets," the U.S. Small Business Administration said.
Homeowners can receive up to $200,000 to homeowners for repairs and replacing damaged real estate.
Interest rates for businesses can be as low as 3.305-percent, 2.5-percent for private non-profit organizations and 1.75 for homeowners.
The Disaster Loan Outreach Center at 4908 S. Sheridan Road in Tulsa will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. They will be closed for Labor Day. No appointment is necessary.
The assistance is available in Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington counties.
The deadline to return applications for property damage is Oct. 23, 2017. Economic injury applications are due by May 22, 2018.
