TULSA — A Tulsa County manufacturer is sending dozens of HVAC units to temporary hospitals in New York.

AAON Manufacturing says they went into 24-hour production to make sure they could fill the critical order.

They made 44 units and the first truckload left today for Stony Brook Temporary Hospital.

Gary Fields, the President of AAON Incorporated, says, "The purpose of how I understand it is to offload the permanent hospitals with these. This is a non-COVID facility so that the hospital has more of a capacity for COVID patients."

The rest of the units will be shipped this weekend.
