Now more than ever, the Blue Star Mothers are a crucial way to support our troops overseas.
The Blue Star Mothers is a non-profit organization that sends care packages monthly. It's encouraging families with sons and daughters deployed to reach out.
"We'd like those moms and dads of the troops that are deployed now, especially if this is your first deployment to reach out to your local Blue Star Mothers, get involved and let us support you and be a part of our community," said Susan Thesenvitz with the Broken Arrow chapter of Blue Star Mothers.
