Local artist drives kids around Tulsa wearing David Bowie-inspired costumes in double decker bus

TULSA – The Starman, David Bowie, will live on through future generations in Tulsa, thanks to one local artist’s idea to use fashion as a way to keep his songs alive.

A traveling fashion show featuring Tulsa-area children showing off David Bowie-inspired creations drove throughout the city Friday.

Annie Ferris, a local artist, used a double decker bus to show off the costumes, periodically stopping to sing Bowie songs with the kids on July 29.
