BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — The City of Broken Arrow on Monday announced that a live boxing event is coming to the Rose District next month.
The Broken Arrow Economic Development Authority approved an agreement that will bring the event to the district on Aug. 23.
The live boxing event will air on Showtime and Main Street will be shut down.
City officials say the event is expected to bring national exposure to the Rose District and help out area businesses.
