TULSA, Okla. — Tulsa Fire crews responded to a large church fire early Wednesday morning.
Officials say flames erupted from Memorial Drive Church of Christ on Memorial Dr. and 9th St. around 4 a.m.
They used a defensive attack to battle the fire from the outside because it was too dangerous to go inside.
More than 60 firefighters and 13 engines responded to the scene with paramedics on standby.
While investigators are looking into the cause, they say the fire burned from the center of the building.
There were no reports of any injuries.
