TULSA, Okla. — Things are looking a lot more colorful in the Kendall Whittier neighborhood!
Murals have begun to decorate buildings in the historic district as part of the Kendall Whittier Walls Project.
One of the murals went up at Ziegler Art and Frames near Admiral and Lewis. We spoke to the artist, who told us the meaning behind his creation.
“The mural itself has no meaning behind it,” John Hammer said. “I just wanted to create characters that are fun and enjoyable and add a big splash of color to it.”
Four more murals by different artists are expected to go up by the end of the month.
