TULSA -- A former Tulsa Police officer charged with killing his daughter's boyfriend was back in court Monday.
A judge rescheduled Kepler's jury trial for October 31 at Monday's hearing. The judge told defense attorney, Richard O'Carroll, to turn in final evidence pertaining to the case
Kepler has been out on bond for more than two years. He's charged with first degree murder and intent to kill.
In August of 2014, Kepler allegedly opened fire and shot his daughter's boyfriend, Jeremy Lake.
The judge gave O'Carroll until Monday to turn in statement depositions of potential witnesses in the trial.
