TULSA -- Jury selection continues in the Michael Bever murder trial on day three.
Bever is accused of stabbing and killing his mother, father and three siblings in 2015. His older brother, Robert, is already serving five life in prison sentences for the murders.

Wednesday consisted of more questioning from the prosecution and defense attorneys. They’re trying to whittle down the nearly 100 potential jurors to 12 jurors as well as two alternates to hear the evidence in this trial.
Now, last night and this morning the judge said she intends to go as long as needed Wednesday night to nail down a jury. It’s unclear if that is still the plan, but if a jury is selected tonight, opening statements could start Thursday morning.
They’re trying to find jury members without previous knowledge of this case and jurors who have not yet made up their minds about the outcome of this trial. That tends to be difficult in high profile murder cases like this one.
If Bever is found guilty, the jury would have to choose between life in prison or life without parole. Since he was 16 at the time of the stabbings, the death penalty is not on the table.
