Tulsa District Attorney's office said a man was found not guilty in the shooting death of 37-year-old Kevin Phelps back in 2017.
A jury found Earnest Liggins not guilty of murder one and manslaughter one, officials said.
Officials said Liggins was found guilty of possession of a firearm without a license.
Liggins received a 30-day sentence, plus a fine, with credit for time served, officials said.
Officials said Liggins had already served 30 days and was set free.
